Admission/Discharge RN (2nd Floor Medical)

Full Time: 36 or more hrs/wk varied Weekend
The Admissions/Discharge Nurse collaborates with nursing, physicians, and other team members in managing the admission and discharge process to ensure that patients are admitted and discharged in a timely manner; facilitates patients in obtaining accurate and thorough information, and assists patients and their families in the transition of care.
Qualifications include graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact. Two years of RN experience required. Communicates effectively with a wide range of age groups, ethnic, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds. Demonstrates physical assessment skills and effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize with accuracy and speed.
Ability to weekends, holidays and shift rotations as needed.
Admission/Discharge RN - Sat. & Sun. 9a - 9p, Staff RN - 1 day week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
