This is a first (1st) position.
The overall purpose of this position is to palletize cases for proper inventory management control.

1. Palletize cases to pallet by operating a scanner. Sign out and return scanner to office.
2. Stretch wrap pallets.
3. Operate a pallet jack and forklift safely.
4. Pull pallets from the ice pack line. Place pallet label in the proper location.
5. Maintain a clean work area and perform housekeeping assignments.
6. Must adhere to all safety requirements. Must wear personal protective equipment. Must prevent unsafe acts and conditions. Must report unsafe acts and conditions.
7. Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
1. Reading, writing, math and analytical skill required.
2. Be able to use a calculator and possess basic math and reading skills.
3. Specialized or technical knowledge, credentials or licensing required for the position: Must be able to obtain pallet jack licenses after Perdue training.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. One (1) year experience in a Shipping positionpreferred.
Exposure to seasonal variations in temperatures ranging from 28 to 40 degrees Farenheit; with ambient humidity; noise exposure of 91.8 dba, chlorinated water of <220 ppm; standing, reaching, occasional bending, stooping, and lifting up with specified guidelines.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
