General Maintenance Mechanic
Job Duties and Qualifications
Maintain production lines to ensure they are always in good working condition
Troubleshoot and repair the production machines to maintain high operating efficiency
Machine Maintenance including both electrical and mechanical operations
Perform preventative maintenance duties and machine change overs.
PLC programing and maintenance
Assist in development and improvement projects for all machines and support equipment
Work with contractors to ensure work is safely and efficiently carried out
Must have 3-5 years mechanical, electrical and PLC experience.
Experience as an electrician in manufacturing environment preferred
Skills in maintenance and repair, machining, welding, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics are required.
Logic & PLC knowledge is considered a plus
Must have troubleshooting skills
Dynamic, well-organized and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Must be autonomous and innovative
Must be able to speak fluent English
Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift and be on-call 1 week per month.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
