Our company is looking to bring a Senior Engineer / Project Manager on board as a part of our growing team. Our company's focus is on large crane operations, heavy rigging and hauling. Individual must be a team player, driven and goal oriented. We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Professional Engineer to excel in a fast pace environment.
Key Duties and Description
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phrases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Oversees design of structural and lifting systems to ensure safety and reliability.
Reviews lift plans and proposals.
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Educational and Skill Qualifications
Senior Engineer will have a Bachelors, Masters, or Post-Graduate Degree(s) from accredited universities in the field of Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. Senior Engineers should have a Professional Engineer Certification (P.E.)
Project Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management, Supervision, CAD.

Senior Engineer salary range will vary based on education, experience, and knowledge in the field. Competitive salary and benefit packages are available.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
