Richmond County is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time clerk position in the Collection Department.
This position involves working with water and tax customers.
Essential functions include but not limited to processing payments by check, cash and credit cards; setting up water service accounts; daily balancing and deposit; answering phones; dealing with customer service questions and concerns; working closely with water and tax department personnel and other duties assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Prefer a high school diploma and 1 to 2 years of experience in financial work and customer service required in a collection related field; must be able to diffuse stressful situations related to customer complaints in a respectable manner.
SALARY:
$29,000-$32,000 based on education and experience.
