Description/Job Summary
This position is only open to currently employed Perdue associates.
Provides oversight in a larger work area which would include operational performance as well as quality performance. Ability to step-in and perform in the event of supervisor opening or absence.
Responsibilities/Duties
_ Duties:_
Department set up
Assist in managing approximately 5 associates
Meet daily production efficiencies and sales orders
Address any food safety/QA/USDA issues
Responsible for providing a safe work environment for associates
Responsible for associate rotation and department safety reports
May conduct daily department huddles
May complete end of shift production reports
Job will involve lifting of up to 50 Lbs
Data collection on critical control points in the process
Required Qualifications
Must be able to work unsupervised
Learn food safety and USDA standards
Must have the ability to handle conflict
Must have good interpersonal skills
Have at least a high school diploma and be able to read/write in English.
No more than 2 occurences
Must be able to meet medical requirments for bending and lifting
- Must have 1-3 years poultry experince, including 6 months with Perdue Farms
- Must be able to work in wet environment with temperatures ranging 50-70 and handle product with temperatures 30-50.

3. Candidates with successful interviews will be invited to take Work Keys Test at Employment Security Commission. Please note Perdue Farms will pay for the test. A Silver status is preferable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
